Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 presents you with various choices throughout the game. These choices help shape the way the game turns out and what ending you will get.
Early in the game, before your meeting with Ysabella, you will have to track down Benny and deal with him. Of course, nothing is ever so simple, as immediately after the fight, you need to decide whether to hand Benny over to Katsumi — the leader of the Anarchs — or give him to Ryong of The Court.
So, what should you do with Benny in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2? Let’s break down the choices, so you know what to choose.
Defeating Benny and Your Confrontation With Katsumi

Benny is the first boss of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, and he can be fairly difficult to defeat if you aren’t prepared. He moves around rather quickly, giving you little time to react.
This early in the game, you won’t have access to many of the game’s skills, but I recommend using the Lightning Strike ability of the Brujah if possible, as this deals a lot of damage. You can also use the Shadow Step ability of the Lasombra to teleport behind Benny.
You will get the opportunity to feed each time you lower one of Benny’s health bars. Keep this in mind during the fight and use it to your advantage.
Once the fight has concluded, you will be introduced to Katsumi, who enters the construction site and requests that you hand Benny over to the Anarchs. It is at this point that you are faced with your first dilemma in the game, and must choose whether to hand Benny over to Katsumi or The Court.
What Happens if You Give Benny to Katsumi?

Katsumi will ask you to hand Benny over to the Anarchs. Up to this point, you will have seen the Anarchs as an enemy faction. While most of them are, there are some that you can work with: Katsumi being the leader.
If you decide to hand over Benny to Katsumi and the Anarchs, she will thank you, mentioning that you should go to the Hole in the Wall later on. After this interaction, you will return to Ryong at Weaver Tower.
Ryong will not be happy with your decision, but you can explain it away as a wise choice, leading her to still appoint you to the role of sheriff of the Court. You will at least be in a better standing with the Anarchs for later in the game.
What Happens if You Give Benny to the Court?

If you decide to deny Katsumi in the construction yard, she will let you walk out of the area with no resistance, allowing you to return to Ryong at Weaver Tower.
Once you have returned to Weaver Tower, Benny will be gone, and you will not see him for the remainder of the campaign. You will be in better standing with Ryong, and you will also be appointed as sheriff of the Court.
In both instances, you will ultimately become sheriff. The main difference in this decision is whether you want to have a better standing with the Anarchs or the Court. This choice will ultimately play a role in what ending you get. Katsumi will also play more of a role in the story later on, after you have completed other major decisions and story events, such as finding Willem.
