Where to find Copper.

Sadly, we can’t just pop into the Falador Mines to grab some Copper Ore in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Instead, it’s time to head out into the wilds of Ashenfall to find the Copper Ore Nodes ourselves.

As you can see the main place to find Copper Ore is the Fractured Plains. Thankfully, the big mounds of orange nodes aren’t hard to spot.
My two favourite spots to mine Copper are just east of the entrance to the Fractured Plains from the Whispering Swamp and the area north of the goblin settlement. Both locations have a number of large Copper Ore Nodes ripe for the taking. Just make sure you’re prepared — the Fractured Plains is a Power Level 3 area. If you’re underlevelled, then you’re going to end up dead pretty quickly!
Don’t forget, you can also use the ‘Detect Ore + Clay’ spell to find Copper Nodes. (They’ll glow orange.) It’s unlocked at Mining Level 24 and requires 5 Astral Runes and 5 Earth Runes.
Actually mining Copper Ore requires a pickaxe which is Bone or higher. You can also use the Rocksplosion spells, which unlocks at Mining Level 11. Just keep in mind that you’ll still need a Bone or higher pickaxe, along with 15 Earth Runes and 5 Fire Runes.
