Monster Hunter Wilds Championship is Capcom’s unique way of celebrating the Monster Hunter brand by giving hardcore players the ultimate challenge: Speedrunning.
Hosted by Capcom itself, these competitive Monster Hunter Wilds tournaments will have players from around the world slaying monsters in the quickest time possible. Capcom is hosting two championships so far: Monster Hunter Wilds USA Championship and Monster Hunter Wilds France Championship.
Правила просты: teams of two players will battle against a Rathalos in the Wounded Hollow. It’s no different than what we’re used to in Monster Hunter Wilds’ Arena Challenges, except for the fact that you’re on a Capcom stage with thousands of people watching your every move.

Each team will have a maximum time limit to complete the event quest, and failure to slay the Rathalos within the allotted time will not have their time recorded.

The winning team, Hell Hunters, completed the Rathalos event quest at a whopping 2 minutes 29 seconds with an A-Rank. Their weapon of choice? Hunting Horns. You can watch the VOD here. The Hell Hunters’ fastest time immediately eclipsed the five other teams vying for the crown by minutes.

Unlike massive competitive eSports scenes like Valve’s The International and League of Legends, this Monster Hunter Wilds Championship doesn’t have any monetary value for the players at the top. Rather, they receive a Monster Hunter Wilds goodie bag as consolation prizes, and champions will get a Baby Seikret Plush and a Rathalos Hoodie. The top three teams will also receive trophies based on placement.
The next tournament in the Monster Hunter Wilds Championship will take place in France during Paris Games Week 2025 this November 1, 2025. The rules remain the same: teams of players will have to slay Rathalos as fast as possible and claim the top spot.
