How to find the Fine Woollen Hood in Winter Burrow
To find the Fine Woollen Hood in Winter Burrow you need to have a Flint Axe, without it you cannot get past an obstacle blocking your path.
To find the Fine Woollen Hood, start at Moss’ home and make sure you’re completely warmed up before heading out. I also recommend taking a couple of cold resistance boosting cooking recipes with you too, such as Pine-nut Biscuits and Hazelnut Biscuits. Also, if you’ve got it, use the Lamp from Gnawtusk too as some parts of the path are quite dark.
From Moss’ home, head north to where you found the Heavy Key location. From the big skull in the middle of the area head left until you enter the next area.
As soon as you arrive in the next area, some vines block your path — cut these down with your Axe.
Once you’ve cleared the vines, keep heading to the north-west (diagonally to your left) until you come across yet more vines blocking your path. Clear these too and keep pressing forward.
After passing through the passage revealed by clearing those vines you need to head north into the next area. When you’re here, the path splits. You need to follow the path to the left until you reach an abandoned caravan, fire pit and an abandoned backpack.
At this point you’re probably very cold, so grab the Kindling within the backpack and use it to light the fire to warm up. Also, if it’s getting close to night, we recommend sleeping at the fire too.
When you’re ready to continue, head south and use your Axe to chop away the thick thorny vines blocking your path here.
In the next area, continue to head to the left and you’ll eventually come across the Fine Woollen Hood. Pick it up and then take it back to Moss.
