During a Sandstorm, your garden gets covered in a faint beige hue and even the chance to get a mutation in Grow a Garden. The Sandy mutation is a result of this weather event, and gaining this also puts you one step closer to the Clay mutation.

Grow a Garden Sandstorm
Sandstorm is a weather event in Grow a Garden where, quite literally, a storm made of sand engulfs your garden and the surrounding garden plots. Every garden on the server will be covered in a dusty beige colour for the duration of the storm.
You’ll also know when a Sandstorm is happening as there will be a small Tornado icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. Now, this icon does look very similar to the Tornado weather event icon, but if you look carefully it’s slightly paler — and if in doubt, select the icon and it will tell you if it’s a Sandstorm!
