Players were previously prompted to download and install the update in advance, which included technical and gameplay changes.

What’s Included in California Resistance Update?

Additionally, newly introduced Battle Pickups can be located and acquired in specific areas of a map. These will offer a special, more powerful firearm and differ from the weapons normally selected by a player, depending on their loadout. Because they are often scarce and provide a tactical advantage, Battle Pickups tend to become hotspots for PvP encounters as players compete to acquire them first.
Meanwhile, on the REDSEC side of things, Калифорнийское Сопротивление adds Rodeo to the Gauntlet rotation. Focused on armored dominance, Rodeo squads score points by holding tanks scattered across the map, with the lowest-placed teams dropping out after each stage.
