Where to find Takahashi Goro for the Twisted Tree.
Takahashi Goro in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is one of the two youngest members of the family you’re tasked with hunting down as part of the Twisted Tree.
If you look at his character description in your objectives menu in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll see that he won’t avenge his father if he dies and instead he will be free. This is important information to know as you’ll soon have a choice to make about his future.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Takahashi Goro location
In Assassin’s Creed Shadows you can find Takahashi Goro at Shokokuji Temple in north Kyoto. We’ve marked the location on the map below for you:
It’ll be easy to find Takahashi Goro as he’s usually the only other person in the Temple. Stand at the top of the Shokokuji Temple view point and face west, then use Observation to scan your surroundings below you. When you spot a blue dot, this is Takahashi Goro.
When you find him, you’ll need to decide if you should kill or spare Takahashi Goro. Just like his sister Ichi-Hime, he’s not like the rest of his siblings and will be free from his father once you assassinate Takahashi Inoshichi. There’s also no difference between saving or killing him — so the choice is yours, we chose to spare him to be more in line with Yasuke and Naoe’s values.
