You have to go near Сад Нисиномару to find Kacho as part of the ‘Chrysalis’ quest during the overarching ‘The Butterfly Collector’ Objective Board in Тени Assassin’s Creed.
However, like a lot of quests in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’re only given a vague description of where Kacho is found. That is, near Nishinomaru Garden, which is filled with butterflies.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Nishinomaru Garden location
Nishinomaru Garden is located directly west of Osaka Castle in the Izumi Settsu region of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The northern tip with the pond in the middle is the actual garden of Nishinomaru, but you have to go further south to enter the Nishinomaru compound, where you’ll find enemies and resources.
If you’re coming to Nishinomaru Garden to find Kacho, then you’ll want to stick to the northern garden area and look for the house north of the lake.
The easiest way to find Kacho from here is to press the button to zoom in and focus (L2/LT on PlayStation and Xbox controllers), and look for the small blue dot. While on the ‘Chrysalis’ quest, this blue dot represents Kacho.
We recommend you stock up on your rations and ensure you have your best weapons and best armor equipped before making your way to Kacho’s location, as you unfortunately don’t get the opportunity to quietly assassinate her.
